Induction in Process

SZABIST Debating Society held an induction conference for the new recruits of the society on 9^th of September, 2012. General Secretary SDS, Jasir Kamal welcomed all the attendants and began the induction formally with the Recitation and Translation of Holy Quran by Saad Ashraf.

After the Recitation of Holy Quran, President SDS, Ms. Iqra Ishaque introduced herself and the society to the new recruits. She highlighted the vision & mission of SDS and informed the members about the rules and regulations of the society. The events along with the timelines that SDS plans to carry out in its current tenure were also discussed. After her motivating speech, Ms. Iqra asked the team leads to give a brief introduction about themselves to the new recruits. Team Leads Saad Ashraf (Debating Coordinator), Maria Shafiq (Marketing), Waqar Younus (Event Management) and Muhammad Murad (Content Writing) introduced themselves respectively.

After Team Leads introduced themselves, new orators were encouraged to come and orate on any of the topic of their own choice. The object of this small exercise was to motivate them. The SDS executive body was overjoyed to see the new dynamic orators of the society. The President and G.S thanked the members with a smile for attending the induction conference and making it memorable.
