what somebody has spoken about? Intra-SZABIST Declamation Contest, 2012 gave
the opportunity to its dynamic orators to experience all this.
Intra-SZABIST Declamation Contest was held on 16th of October, 2012 in Media Studio SZABIST, 154 Campus. The contest had 2 sections. One was English section and other was Urdu Section. For English Section, there were 8 participants and top 3 positions were grabbed by Aamash Altaf, Asna and Sahar 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. For Urdu section, there were 5 participants and top 3 positions were grabbed by shehryar Hussain, Nain Tara Laghari and Moaz Ahmed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Speaker Muhammad Murad (Also G.S SDS) was kept out of competition because of his executive position in the society. Winners were awarded with prizes and certificates. Cash Prize was given to top 1st position holders of both English and Urdu sections.

The Judges Panel was consistent of Ms. Ayesha Latif (Faculty
Management Sciences SZABIST Karachi) and Muhammad Mubin Nasir (Reporter
Business Recorder Pakistan). Judges were
impressed by the talent of young dynamic orators of SZABIST and appreciated the
efforts of SZABIST Debating Society in this regard.
At the end, Mr. Jasir Kamal, President SZABIST Debating
Society, thanked the honorable judges and participants. He announced that the 2
participants from each section will be representing SZABIST in HEC Regional
Debating Competition. He ended his speech with motivational words that “Success
is not to tell the world who you are but to alter their thoughts by doing what
you are destined to do”.
One of the best events of SZABIST ended with great experience where the warriors made use of their ultimate weapon, “WORDs”.
